When the leadership team at Oulton College needed to make some changes to their organizational structure, they contacted us to assess their leadership development needs. A new position of Education Advisor was created and the people in these positions needed a "just in time" leadership development solution. The Developing My Leadership program was exactly the professional development this team needed.
Janelle Bourgeois, Director for HR and Organizational Performance for Oulton College states, "We had sessions every month. These sessions were inspiring and left us with tools that the team could actually use because the content was relevant and we had the chance to practice at the end of each session."
The Developing My Leadership curriculum consists of 11 modules and provides participants with essential leadership skills to be successful in their team leader or management roles. Most modules are 2.5 hours in class and an application challenge is assigned for each module encouraging participants to apply what they are learning. Transferring essential skills back to the workplace is critical for successful behavioural change.
Thanks for reading! People often ask me “What do you do?”. The simple answer is “I make leaders better!” I do this through leadership coaching, emotional intelligence coaching, seminars, key note talks and mastermind groups.
My purpose is to help grow the leadership influence and effectiveness of people to enable them to produce better results, build trusting relationships, and foster an engaging healthy work environment where people are excited and empowered to do their best work.
I believe our workplaces can be transformed by better leadership. I founded Changing Leaf Inc. to help organizations and individuals realize their potential by developing leaders who create confidence and inspire trust.
